Aegean Pelagos Sea Lines Terms & Conditions

Cancelation Fees

You can find the cancellation policy of the ferry company under Changes & Cancellations in our Customer Support pages.

Additionally to the cancellation fees held by the ferry company, Greekferries Club charges an additional 10% fee from the refundable amount.

Open return tickets

Open return tickets are valid for one year from the issue date. The fare is always calculated based on the low season fares. If the passenger wishes to travel in middle or high season, he/she has to issue an additional ticket and pay the difference. The company is not responsible if the desired accommodation is not available.

Ticket Changes

Ticket change means changing the travel dates, the route or upgrade category. In case the new ticket value is less, the passenger is not entitled to a refund.
Changing the name of a passenger or downgrade category requires cancellation of the original ticket (see the cancellation policy of the company) and the purchase of a new ticket.

ATTENTION! If the passenger has the original tickets in their hands, they have to return them to the issuing agent in order to replace them with new tickets.

Ticket Loss

In case of a lost ticket you must:
a) immediately inform the issuing agency or Aegeon Pelagos and
b) issue a new ticket at the expense of the passenger.
Upon checking the records of the company and it appears that the ticket was not used or was not replaced within three (3) months from the date of travel, the passenger is entitled to a free ticket of equal value with the lost one.

Delay or cancellation of route

  • DELAYED DEPARTURE: Passengers and vehicles can board the ferry without changing their tickets.
  • CANCELLATION OF ROUTE: The tickets for the canceled route do not apply for boarding and must be changed for the next scheduled departure with available places, by replacing the original ticket.
  • CAUTION: When the delay or cancelation of a ferry route is due to force majeure (e.g. bad weather), passengers are requested to communicate with the port offices of the company in order to be informed of the new departure time.
